Under the supervision of the manager and / or head cashier, the cashier has the function of providing a professional service to customers at all times. A cheerful demeanour, speed and professionalism are important criteria for this work.
Cashier main responsibilities
- Offers exceptional client service
- Provides professional and prompt service when taking orders
- Oversees the cleanliness of their work area as well as that of the dining room and bath rooms
- Communicates comments or suggestions from customers to their superior
- Offers complementary products to customers and informs them of current promotions
- Respects applicable service standards
Required qualifications
Experience
Experience in customer service and / or in the restaurant industry
Professional and technical knowledge
