Camp Papillon is one of the largest vacation camps for disabled children in North America. Located 40 kilometres north of Joliette on a 40-acre peninsula on the shores of Lake Pierre, Camp Papillon hosts nearly 700 campers for regular stays every year.
To date, the Benny&Co. Foundation has donated $400 000 to Camp Papillon in Lanaudière. Money that was used for renovating and updating the cafeteria, the main gathering place for campers.
Since 2016, the Benny & Co Foundation has sponsored children with disabilities by sending them to Camp Papillon for free during the summer vacation. Thanks to the Taste & Donate Day fundraiser each April, it has been possible to send many children to the camp to enjoy a great outdoor adventure, provide them with care and activities entirely tailored to their needs and to provide a respite for their parents.
The Benny&Co. Foundation and Les Auberges du Coeur have a special partnership that focuses on major household improvements. Over the past three years, $90,000 was raised for the Auberges du Cœur, paying for 11 different renovations.
